Discovery

I'm a content creator myself - YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter. I'd create one video and spend an entire day cutting it up, writing captions, making thumbnails for each platform. Absolute waste of time. I knew other creators had the same problem because they'd complain about it in every creator group I was in.

Key Lessons

  • Creators are willing to pay for time-saving tools. Time is literally money for them.
  • Your customers can be your best marketers. Give them something worth talking about.
  • AI costs are real. I spend ₹1.5L/month on OpenAI and video storage. Price accordingly.
  • Ship fast, optimize later. My first version took 30 minutes to process a video. Now it's 3 minutes.
  • Freemium doesn't work for compute-heavy products. I learned that the expensive way.
